Director's Message (Kevin Sherrill)

Welcome to the Arcadia High School Percussion page. Arcadia High School has two performing percussion ensembles this year (2001-2002). Both ensembles perform at a wide variety of locations throughout the year. Each group spends many hours practicing and rehearsing, in order to maintain their high level of achievement. Please take the opportunity to see these students perform at a band review or field show tournament in the fall, or a concert band concert or indoor marching percussion ensemble competition in the spring. You’ll come away with a greater appreciation of the work ethic and talent level of our students.

Parent support for the percussion program is outstanding. However, we always need new faces and talents. We are always in need of parents to help with equipment , with backdrops and costuming, and with fundraising. If you could give of your time, you’ll find that it is very rewarding.
