Director's Message (Tom Forbes & Rick England)

We would like to welcome you to the Arcadia High School Orchestra Family. This year, our Orchestra Family consists of over 350 students plus their families. The Orchestra has a 55 year tradition of excellence at Arcadia High School. We plan to carry on the tradition of excellence by traveling to San Francisco with Orchestras 2 and 3 to participate in a Heritage Festival event as well as performing in the San Francisco area. Orchestra 1 will be attending the Long Beach Orchestra Festival on March 19th held at Long Beach Poly High School. The Orchestra is made up of the “crème of the crop” at Arcadia High School. The students in the Orchestra are accomplished in both music and academics. We encourage all students, parents, family, alumni and friends to get involved in the Orchestra and Music Club. All our Orchestra Members will perform at our 14th Annual Orchestra Benefit Dinner and Concert on Saturday, February 23, 2008 to be held at the Arcadia Community Center.
