Music Camp 2007

Arcadia High School's 50th Annual Music Camp will be held from Sunday, August 26th through Friday, August 31st at Idyllwild Pines and Camp Maranatha, Idyllwild. This is the single most important activity the Arcadia Music Club offers our band, orchestra, color guard and percussion students each year.
Students enrolled in Band and Orchestra for 2007-08 school year should have received their Registration Package. If you have not registered yet, mail in your forms today!! Click on the links to download the registration brochures for Band and Color Guard and Orchestra.

Orchestra Sweeps 2007 Heritage Festival

During Spring Break, under the tutelage of Directors Tom Forbes and Rick England, 190+ members of Orchestras I, II & III traveled to compete against dozens of schools and thousands of students at the Heritage Festival in Orlando, Florida. Divided into two groups, Arcadia won in every category entered, including the four top prizes: Festival Sweepstakes, Outstanding Orchestra Group, Sweepstakes Award - Instrumental, and Adjudicator's Award.
Orchestra Benefit Dinner 2007

The 13th Annual Orchestra Benefit Dinner “50’s Sock Hop, Orchestra Cruise Night” was held on Saturday, February 24 that Arcadia Community Center. It began with a delicious catered dinner; followed by entertainment featuring string ensembles of AHS Orchestra students, and Guest Artist, Felix Bullock performing classical and Latin music on Guitar. The evening ended when the 340 Orchestra students performed 3 beautiful, impressive grand finale pieces, along with the guest artist and 3 student guitarists.
The Arcadia Marching Band will be Performing in 2008 Rose Parade
The Arcadia High School Apache Marching Band will be marching in the January 1, 2008 Rose Parade! The Band has performed in the Rose Parade 13 times over the history of our high school: 1956, 1963, 1966, 1975, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1985, 1989, 1993, 1998, 2000 and 2003. We are proud to have been chosen as one of the eleven bands from all over the world, to participate in the 2008 Rose Parade. The Apache Marching Band will also perform in the Band Fest on either the 29th or the 30th of December, 2007.
Spaghetti Dinner 2007

THANK YOU to those of you who helped with the 40th Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Recognition Show held on Saturday, January 20, 2007. We couldn't have done it without your support!
There were featured performances by the Drum Major, Guard, Percussion, Princesses, and Pep Band. Also, there was a "Drill Down" — a drill competition for the whole band — and a pictorial remembrance of the season as the band says an emotional farewell for the year.
At this 2007 Spaghetti Dinner, Apache Marching Band was invited by the 2008 President of the Tournament of Roses, CL Keedy, and his Music Chairman, Tony Delgatto, to perform in the January 1, 2008 Rose Parade! We are proud to have been chosen as one of the eleven bands from all over the world, to participate in the 2008 Rose Parade.
