56th Annual Arcadia Festival of Bands

Welcome to the 2009 Arcadia Festival of Bands Website.  The 56th Annual Arcadia Festival of Bands will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009. 

We would like to thank our first responders and community members who have helped make Arcadia a better place by “Saluting Community Service”.

Please join us on Baldwin Avenue starting at Huntington Drive at 8:45 a.m. Over 40 marching bands will compete in one of the oldest and most prestigious Band Review Parades in Southern California.  The parade moves south on Baldwin Avenue to Duarte Road and is free.

After the parade, schools will assemble at Salter Stadium at Arcadia High School for the Percussion Performance and Awards Ceremony.  Complete meals, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the Stadium Snack Shack.

The evening Field Show at Citrus College Stadium in Glendora will showcase many of Southern California’s finest bands in competition.  Admission tickets may be purchased at a savings in advance on this website or full price at the gate.

Several hundred volunteers are needed each year for the event to run smoothly and to make a memorable experience for our students and all participants.  No experience is required.  Please take a minute to sign up on this website to volunteer for a two hour shift or more during the day. 

Sponsorship and Advertising Forms are available on this website for businesses and families for the 2009 Arcadia Festival of Bands Program sold during the day of the event.  The programs are purchased by participants, parade goers, percussion fans and field show watchers
